World Liberty Financial

About

World Liberty Financial is a multi-product DeFi platform offering USD1, a fully-backed US dollar stablecoin, and WLFI Markets, a lending and borrowing protocol powered by Dolomite. The platform also features AgentPay SDK for AI agent payments and WLFI token for governance. It serves institutions, individuals, and DeFi participants across multiple blockchain networks including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Solana.

Where Does Yield Come From?

Yield in World Liberty Financial's system mostly happens through WLFI Markets. This is a lending and borrowing platform that uses technology from Dolomite.

Users can deposit their digital assets to earn potential rewards. These rewards can compound over time, meaning you earn rewards on your rewards. You might also receive special USD1 Points as extra incentives.

The core mechanism is borrowing against collateral. You deposit some assets as security (collateral) to borrow other assets. This lets you use your existing holdings to access more funds for various strategies.

The platform provides rewards for those who supply assets (often called liquidity providers). It also enables borrowing against your collateral for strategies that use leverage (borrowed money to aim for higher returns).

If you hold USD1—the platform's own US dollar stablecoin—you can lend it out in these markets to earn yield.

The native WLFI token may gain value because it gives holders voting rights in platform decisions (governance) and has utility within the ecosystem.

The main sources of yield are:

  • The difference in interest rates between what lenders earn and what borrowers pay.
  • Possible extra rewards from USD1 Points distributions, which come through the Dolomite integration.
