Etherfuse

About

Etherfuse provides tokenized sovereign bonds (Stablebonds) and cross-border FX (eFX) for institutions, fintechs, and corporate treasuries. It enables access to government bond yields onchain and low-cost USD-MXN conversion at 1/10th traditional bank costs.

Where Does Yield Come From?

Etherfuse generates yield through tokenized government bonds called Stablebonds. Each token is backed 1:1 by real government bonds held in regulated custody.

The bonds include:

  • CETES (Mexico)
  • KTB (South Korea)
  • TESOURO (Brazil)
  • GILTS (United Kingdom)
  • EUROB (European Union)
  • USTRY (US Treasury)

Yield comes from two sources: the interest payments (coupons) of the underlying bonds, and any price appreciation if the bond's market value increases. This yield is passed directly to token holders.

The platform sources these bonds through regulated custodians like BBVA, Shinhan, and B3. It then tokenizes them on multiple blockchains including Solana, Stellar, Polygon, Base, and Monad.

Token holders can use Stablebonds to earn yield, use them as collateral, or redeem them at their net asset value (NAV).

Fees are based on 30-day transaction volume (5 to 20 basis points). There may also be optional partner fees of up to 500 basis points.

Importantly, this yield does not come from DeFi lending or liquidity provisioning. It is derived directly from sovereign debt instruments.
