Asseto Finance

About

Asseto Finance is an RWA launchpad that tokenizes financial assets and strategies from traditional fund managers, providing institutional-grade tokenization and on-chain distribution. It offers a curated shelf of tokenized real-world assets like money market funds, arbitrage strategies, and credit assets, enabling investors to access yield-bearing tokens backed by regulated underlying funds. The platform connects TradFi asset providers with DeFi liquidity across multiple blockchains.

Where Does Yield Come From?

Yield comes from tokenized versions of traditional financial assets, each backed by a regulated fund or strategy. The platform offers three main types of yield-bearing tokens:

  • AMCASH+ tokens are backed by a money market fund that invests in short-term deposits and high-quality money market instruments. Yield is generated from the returns of those money market investments.

  • AoABT tokens are backed by an arbitrage strategy that seeks profit from differences in funding rates and spreads. The token's price is tied to the net asset value (NAV) of the underlying fund, so yield accumulates as the NAV grows.

  • EPOCH+ tokens are pegged 1:1 to stable credit notes. The underlying assets are accounts receivable (money owed) from cross-border e-commerce businesses. Yield comes from these credit assets.

How yield reaches token holders: Depending on the specific product, yield can flow to you either through an increase in the token's value (as the NAV rises, you effectively accumulate more tokens) or through direct distributions.

Fees: Asseto, as the technology provider, does not charge subscription or redemption fees. However, the underlying funds may charge their own management fees, subscription fees, and redemption fees as detailed in their documentation.

Structure and safety: The tokenization uses separate, segregated holding structures (vaults) to ensure transparency and compliance. This setup means the yield you earn is directly derived from the performance of the regulated, traditional financial strategies backing each token.

The audit identified two low-risk issues and multiple recommendations, with several fixes already implemented; the protocol's security posture appears reasonable but retains some centralization and off-chain dependencies.
